DIY Stationery Holder
Most of the people hand over their cardboard waste to ragman or throw it away in the dustbin but if one realizes, various types of things can be made out of it which can be proved as valuable and worthy...
Similarly, I have also made a something special from my cardboard boxes of medicines - a DIY STATIONERY HOLDER in which you can keep pencils, pens, colors, sketches, rulers, scissors, stapler, etc. All guys can make it in a very simple manner. So let's see the steps one by one...
1. Collect the unused boxes of different sizes that you think appropriate for it and arrange them according to ur wish. Here, I have chosen seven boxes of different sizes according to the material which I want to keep in it.
2. Join the boxes with the help of glue and after it supports them by cello tape. The main structure will get ready...
3. Now, tear the small pieces of newspaper and make the paste in a bowl by adding equal amounts of glue and water.
4. Now, with the help of a coarse paintbrush take the pieces of newspaper one by one and cover up the whole cardboard with the paste which we had made earlier. Let it dry. Apply two or three layers and the structure will get hardened automatically.
5. Apply acrylic paint on the holder according to ur choice. Here, I have chosen black color.
6. Now, cut the small pieces of scrap paper of different colors according to sizes of respective boxes of any shape. Here, I have done it in a triangular shape. Use pattern method to cut the pieces in a faster way.
7. Choose the box one by one, apply the layer of glue on the outer side and put strips on it. Remove the remaining strips by inverting the holder. When all boxes will get ready, apply the paste 3 times which we had made earlier all over the surface.
8. Very soon, your DIY STATIONERY HOLDER will be ready. Choose ur boxes according to ur stationery material and stay tuned for ur personal DIY hacks ...😊
